Wake Forest University’s athletic program competes in the NCAA Division I as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and consists of 18 varsity teams. The program has a history of success in sports such as men’s basketball, women’s field hockey, and men’s soccer, and has produced many accomplished athletes.
